Alley Cat Music has been part of the State College musical instrument retail business since 1989. Known as the area's only vintage instrument music store, Alley Cat's loyal customers are as diverse as the many different, eclectic instruments you will find here on any given day. Owner and accomplished guitarist, Mark Ross is the resident guitar expert, vintage tone guru, and all-around guitar wise-man. The knowledge here comes from experience. Mark spent several years on tour with the critically acclaimed Queen Bee and the Blue Hornet Band, warming up for some of the biggest names in blues, including the legendary B.B. King. The experience behind the man shows through in Alley Cat's friendly, music-motivated atmosphere.
